I was just reading a article from the rag which is the Daily Fail. Unfortunately it's stories like this which makes us all like we have a easy life. Unfortunately a lot of people believe them

It's just the usual vile propaganda that they use to try to turn the general public against people who are on disability benefits.

The way the press tries to achieve their long-term goal is as follows…

The press slowly attempt to demonise us by publishing articles like this depicting us all as lazy/scroungers who live the high life —> They hope that it generates anger/hatred from the general public towards us —> The anger/hatred generated by the guilible public then gives the government legitimacy to push forward with harsh reforms to the benefit system —> When the reforms finally come, none of the general public stands up and defends us because the press has sucessfully spent months demonising us via their constant stream of anti-sickness benefit news articles.

Frankly, it's disgusting that the mainstream press is allowed to make these vile hit pieces against us on an almost daily basis.. I no longer read the mainstream news. I only get my news from trusted disabled advocacy news websites.

Why on earth were you reading the Daily Mail? That rag is only fit to line a bird cage.

It just came up on a Google news feed, I certainly wouldn't ever pay to read that garbage.

The story must be a bogus one.

Someone in the comments section of the article said:

"I work at the DWP and I have never known someone receive such a high income on benefits. This makes no sense."

They're right. I've calculated her income myself assuming that she gets the highest rates and I found out that it's impossible that she can earn £2,300 in benefits a month, excluding money for rent.

There's no way benefits pay that amount of money. It’s all getting people riled up against people on benefits.

This is the kind of bogus stories the Daily Garbage is publishing every other day about people on benefits.
