ESA to UC

in Universal Credit (UC)

Hello everyone,

I was in the ESA support group and have migrated over to UC. I received my first payment and only included the standard allowance, there was no LCWRA payment. I left a journal note explaining I was in the ESA support group so should be entitled to LCWRA. They replied saying they are still waiting for some info from ESA to be transferred over. Does anyone know how long this takes? And when will I receive the LCWRA payment? Many thanks ☺️

    Once the details have been confirmed, a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment (missing LCWRA element).

    Payment will be sent to your bank account within a few working days.

    Thank you, do you know how long it will take approx? This was 2 weeks ago and not heard anything back yet.

    As you've waited two weeks I personally would chase this up with them.

    Unfortunately it's just not possible to advise on timescales with any certainty.
