I’ve been since March 2024 on uc providing fit notes, I had my assessment on July 2024 and don’t was approved but I was keeping sending fit notes and they was accepting it. After my mandatory reconsideration that was again denied they was still accepting the fit notes. I had finally my surgery on January 2025 and my fit notes was till March. On March when I sent the next fit note on my journal was like not accepted so my work coach in that time asked me to write again a mandatory reconsideration and send it to the jobcenter email what I did.Because work coaches changing every single time I had an appointment, they messed a bit and nobody knows what happened with that email. I continued send another fit note for April and again was saying not accepted but this time another work coach told me to add on my journal a change of circumstances, I told that had surgery and still not able to work and also another health problem was making worse the previous reason I was in for. I did , sent a new fit note and was accepted. Now I will have again a new assessment. My question is , if get approved they will pay me from June2024(3 months after the 1st fit note)or they will try to avoid and just payment from the last fit note? The reason on the sick note is the same all the time only now added a new circumstance that make worse that reason. Hope someone have any clue because I can’t find any similar case online.Thank you!!

Because you didn't get LCWRA from the first assessment or Mandatory Reconsideration, any backpay would be calculated from the date you submitted the new Fit Note after reporting a change in health.

Thanks for replying Kimi87, so that means if I have my assessment next week and get approved, I will need to wait 3 months as the last fit note I’ve sent was just couple weeks ago?

Yes the waiting period applies and will start from the date of Fit Note submitted after you reported the change in health.
