I was refused pension credit, but they missed that although my housing benefit was reviewed after the cutoff date, it was treated as an extension of my old claim, and payments remained continuous. Were they wrong to refuse my claim?

Hi there @Hany welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear you were refused pension credit, but the good news is if you feel they refused your claim in error, you can ask for a mandatory reconsideration (MR) so you may be able to overturn their decision.

Thank you. I am in the process of doing a mandatory reconsideration. I've had a lot of problems with the processing of my claim. Poor communication and lack of correspondence.
