LCWRA

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to ask what to expect for a change in circumstances review. I was LCW but health deteriorated and work coach told me to do another UC50. It has been almost a year and all I get when I phone is told "Sorry, there's a backlog for reassessment, no eta". They received the form and documents in July 2024. Surely there has to be some level of accountability? Can they just leave you in purgatory this long?
Thanks for taking the time to read my mini rant.

The UC50 would have gone to the health assessment provider, and it's them you are waiting on to give you an appointment.
You can use their formal complaint procedure over the waiting time, details should be on their website.
Unfortunately there are no set timescales and people can like yourself end up waiting a very long time.
You'll either have a paper based assessment (rare, these require minimal or no further input from the claimant), or a telephone/face to face assessment appointment.

Thank you for the reply Kimi87, much appreciated :)
I have emailed Maximus, guess it's just wait and see now.

As for waiting to be called for a WCA, I think I'm holding the record, as they took 8 and a half years to call me for an assessment - I said assessment and not reassessment, as that was my first assessment.
