Another ESA Payment

Hello,

I received my run on ESA payment on 15th May. I applied for UC on 1st of May. This morning I just received another ESA payment of £281.10. I was in ESA Support group with EDP Income Related top up. I have heard others say they have also received more payments after the run on and this is the CB part of their ESA which is still paid when applied for UC. Is this correct or have I been over paid? Please can someone confirm this as I am very anxious that it's a mistake

I should also add I haven't yet received my fist UC payment this will be next week on 6th May because 7th is a Saturday. I have received a letter from ESA telling me they paid my run on payment on the 15th May so what is this extra payment please? Thank You

No you don't need to do anything.

At some point you'll receive a communication with a commitments appointment for New Style ESA, as detailed in the thread it's a formality and nothing to worry about.

Will this be over the phone or at local Job Center? I got a message from a case worker yesterday saying my local Job Center had been closed for refurbishment and had now reopened.
