Volunteers are the lifeblood of voluntary and community organisations in Wales. They are at the heart of a wide range of services, providing support to a huge diversity of people and communities who rely on them.

In Wales it is estimated that approximately 938,000 volunteers contributed a total of 145 million hours of their time each year. Let's take a moment to acknowledge that.

Volunteering time has an estimated value of of £1.7 billion ( source: WCVA) Volunteering has a value that can't be defined in monetary terms such as social cohesion, inclusion and economic regeneration.

Volunteering is a great way to forge new friendships, develop new skills and give something back to the community.

Diolch yn fawr gwirfoddolwyr Cymraeg Thank you to our Welsh volunteers.
