TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO ESA

I currently waiting on the phone for an agent .I started the call at 12.45 pm and its now 15.34 pm. The reason is i have been migrated from ESA to Universal credit. I have just received a notice in my journal that I have to inform ESA that I am now getting universal credit and for them to update records. as it will affect my payments. Surely this is something that the DWP should do

It's a poorly worded automated message, you don't need to inform them yourself.
ESA will already be aware as UC will ask them to confirm your previous award.

@mandiub40 exact same thing happened to me with the message in my journal and not being able to get through to them.
Like @Kimi87 said they have all that information and no need to inform them.

@mandiub40 I know it’s nice to just get a little bit of reassurance, my anxiety has been through the roof through the whole process but it’s nice to know I may be able to help others going through the process if I can 🙂
