PIP Reveiw Form Sent

My PIP Reveiw form was to be received on the 29th May this year. I filled in the form to the best of my ability (with copies of the form for myself) and sent it in the Freespost envelope provided on the 13th May.
I did get proof of posting (just in case), but realise I should have maybe got proof of delivery aswell. I received a letter from the PIP saying they had not received my forms yet and that if you had sent it in the last few days not to do anything.
Being autistic, I am now frantic to know what has happened, has it got lost in the post? I have made a call to the PIP people every day, some calls I am waiting for 2 hours or more but I never get a reply !
My brother who has good sense said that it was sent in good time and that I shouldnt worry. Any advice appreciated

Hi @3PARKWAY3 - you did exactly the right thing in getting proof of postage.
Proof of delivery wouldn't particularly help as DWP mail is just signed for in bulk by Royal Mail at a handling centre before being sent on to the DWP, then it can take time to be scanned onto their system.
Quite often you receive a letter from the DWP saying they haven't received your form, when the chances are that by the time you receive it the DWP will have actually received your form.
Very little mail actually gets lost in the post, but you have proof of when you posted anyway (& very sensibly kept a copy of your form).
If you want to ring to check again, if you haven't already done so, try ringing first thing in the morning when hopefully you'll get through to an actual person!
If the worst comes to the worst, ask them to send out another form mentioning that you have a 'Certificate of posting' to show that you returned your form in good time

Many thanks for your reply. A very positive response.
I am still unable to get through on the phone even in the mornings ! Its just that I havn't received a text reply to say documents have been received that keeps my anxiety raised !
I supose we all have to go through the waiting process
