Hi @helfire69, welcome to the community. What kind of bed are you looking to buy?
If you're on any benefits, you can often get an advance or loan to help you purchase things, but these are usually paid back from your payments over time.
You could try having a look at the Turn2Us grant search to see if there's anything that might be suitable for you:
You could also see if your local council has any support funds available. They are sometimes able to give grants or funds for essential items so it's well worth contacting your local council to see if there's anything they can offer.
Local groups like Free Cycle or Facebook Marketplace can sometimes be good if you're just looking for a standard style bed. But I know it can be a bit more difficult if you need something adaptable or electric.
Hope you can find something suitable soon ☺️
