Hello I’m new here!. I’d like to start by saying hello 👋 to everyone and that I hope your pain levels are manageable.

I sent my review form back 4 weeks ago. I didn’t receive a text to say they had received it, so I rang them and they had.
How long ? before I’ll get a letter to say if I need a reassessment do you think.
I have endometriosis, asthma, bursitis in both shoulders, moderate OA,Major depressive disorder and generalised anxiety. I was also diagnosed after 4yrs of investigations (2024)with having fibromyalgia.
life has changed so much since having standard pip awarded in June 23 for two years.
I sent OT letter back and dr and pain dr reports of treatment and medication .

I’m so anxious at the moment and UC aren’t helping as I had a letter in March saying I was over paid since 2022 and I have to pay them back £965.68 .
I asked for a written explanation and nothing.

I sent another message and the lady said she could see what I had done and would look into it . Again nothing .

Basically what I had done was when my savings changed in March 25 because of my confusion and not great at doing these things I put in my date of birth year! March 1972, So this has generated that I had been paid too much.

I could see back to April 23 that I had savings of the amount I put in on March 25.

I’ve told them I’m worrying as now they are taking a clump out my UC each month making me short.
No one seems to be sorting it .
My friend is going to help me message on the journal again as I really don’t know what else to do other than get someone to take me into the job centre, but I’m not up to going out at the moment as can’t walk far .
Any help I would be grateful 🥹

Heya @Bee_T_pain and welcome to the community. I hope you're managing to stay hydrated and cool today?

With regard to PIP reassessments, the wait can be very long. I think from start to finish, mine was around a year. It can vary hugely after the assessment, some are hearing back after ten weeks, others are waiting about 200 days. I'm sorry I can't give you a more precise answer.

With your UC issues, have you called to speak to someone? Or have you just been using your UC journal?

    Albus_scope Hi 👋

    Thank you for the reply.

I thought I might of heard from them saying I need another phone or face to face assessment? Maybe .

UC . No I’ve only messaged them online as it said to because the phone line takes longer to get it sorted.

Maybe I should try on Monday as it’s going on again into next assessment period 🙄.
    Thank you again

Heya @Bee_T_pain glad you're getting the liquids in you at least, it's not a fun time for people whos motors run hot!

I think giving UC a call would be your best bet, if you can ring them as soon as the lines open, you usually have a good chance of getting through to someone quickly. 😊

With the PIP reassessment, if you've not had an assessment yet, again, you could be looking at a few months before you hear anything back as there's still a large backlog.

    @Albus_Scope

Thank you!. I rang the UC line and he reassured me that it was being dealt with.
I just needed the push to do so 😁
