Tenancy and succession.

My husband died recently, believing I would succeed his secure tenancy in our housing association home. Neither of us knew that he had succeeded already when his tenancy changed from Joint to Sole when the relationship with his then partner broke down. It’s been my home for 27 years. I'm sorry I don't have any real answers. I can only suggest speaking to the housing association which may help put your mind at ease.
So sorry for your loss.

Hi @TheHen I am sorry for your loss and the confusion and uncertainty it has plunged you in to. I have been there, done that and got the t shirt, Can you say if you were a joint tenant with your name on the rent account?
