No, because you're an existing claimant and the new rules haven't come in yet anyway.

But when the new rules come in, Mobility alone won't qualify someone for the Health Element on UC.

Hi @chrisbward, welcome to the community. As OverlyAnxious mentioned, the new rules don't apply yet so your benefits will continue as normal for now. Things are likely to stay the same for existing claimants too.

With all that's going on in politics regarding the benefits system, we don't quite know what the end result will be yet. Hopefully we'll start getting some confirmation in the coming weeks.

Do you think you'd like to challenge the decision to remove your daily living payments?

If you would like to challenge the award, the first step is to make a Mandatory Reconsideration. There are services that can help with this if you don't feel up to it yourself.

You have asked for a tribunal hearing. This could take up to one year. The DWP will supply all the paperwork to the tribunal and yourself. If you are not sure about it all, contact your Citizens Advice Bureau near to where you live for help.
