PIP Review - Review Completed Text

Hello!
I sent my PIP reviews forms to the DWP in November 2024, and I’ve just received a text message to say my review is complete and I will receive the decision letter within 2 weeks. I have had NO assessment, so I really don’t know if the decision is good news or bad news..
Has anyone ever had a review, and had their review completed without an assessment?
Thanks

Yes, lots of us at the moment as they’re dealing with huge backlogs. It means they had enough evidence to make a decision. You can phone and ask for the result, sometimes they’ll tell you and other times they won’t.

Hi @MrJackT I sent my review forms at the end of October received exact same text as you on the 18th June received letter on the 23rrd June. Lost 2 points from one of my 4s but still got enhanced daily living and got my standard mobility upped to enhanced mobility which was great news for me as I have been pretty much struggling with getting out and about since 2022. Ring the automated payment line that will tell you what your next payment should be.
Let us know how you got on. Good Luck

Hi @MrJackT, this usually means that you've had what's called a paper-based assessment. They will have looked at your forms and evidence and made a decision based on that. It doesn't mean that it will be a bad decision. As Hopeless mentioned, it just means that they felt they had enough evidence to decide without bringing you into an assessment.
Fingers crossed it's a good result for you ☺️
