Am having a bad day with my schizophrenia, I keep bring told to "get a drip", but no one wants to help me, I have been left to deal with this by myself by the NHS Mental health as I do not fit into their "quick fix" box, as they quoted me as being "a chronic case". I feel very let down and completely discarded.

I’m so sorry you’re not getting the help and support you need. There’s lots of us in this situation at the moment. I’ve been discharged back to my GP from mental health services as there’s nothing they can do. They no longer seem to offer long term support and maintenance - if they can’t fix you quickly then they don’t want to know. It sucks but you’re not alone

I did get to see a Psychiatrist she left me absolutely traumatised went back to the age of 3 she was forceful with her questions awful then just left and with all this added pressure it's to much I'd ask them to send you a letter stating why your a chronic case I've heard them say no therapy when in crisis I'm so sorry your going through this

My heart goes out to you. I raised complaint about how I have been treated but as per usual complete fob off.

Just wanted to say, I admire each and everyone of you suffering so badly as you do with your mental health conditions yet having the courage to share your battles with us, that really does take courage. I feel you all deserve so much more from this country, the NHS is in dire straights and its shocking how long you have to wait to get any help, no wonder you feel so worn down and ignored. Then when you do get help you get treated like Catherine did, it blows my mind, we live in 2025 but feels like 1825. Hope you all get a little respite soon 🤗

Thank you for your kind words, to be honest no one really wants to know as mental health is an invisible illness and when my own Psychiatrist tells me you have a chronic condition because I didn't fit into his quick fix box that just sums it up well with the whole NHS and to what they really think of anyone who has mental health issues, as my whole life is so difficult, am absolutely dreading winter when it arrives.
