Questions about PIP tribunal evidence

I'm currently waiting for tribunal and have been assembling evidence. Citizen's Advice submitted the appeal on my behalf, but they can't represent me at the hearing (cutbacks). I have a few questions in the meantime.
The DWP were supposed to acknowledge my appeal last Wednesday. They did not, so now the Tribunal Service will be sending them a "reminder". The Tribunal Service website says to wait until I see the DWP's response as it may give me insight into what kind of evidence to submit. But when will I see the response? The day before the tribunal? (Colour me paranoid, but I wouldn't put it past them to do that!)
How long does it take to get to the hearing? What kind of delay/wait am I looking at?
Cheers

Sorry, I can't help with the evidence section. I have had a quick look through my appeal paperwork and I don't see anything asking about specific items to include as further evidence.
I can answer about the length of time as I have just got a letter with a hearing date. My hearing will be around 15 months after the appeal was submitted.
