Highest rate mobility to a lowest rate daily living compo

Hello everyone.. if anyone can help please.. I've recently found that Spinal stenosis has become worse.. I've Notified DWP with the changes but with devine intervention have now placed me at lower rate of daily living component and recieving less..how's this possible.has any one this happened to .I have appealed.. 🙏

    Hi @wcollard1602, welcome to the community. I'm really sorry this has happened to you. You did the right thing by telling them that your conditions had become worse, so I can understand the frustration that they've taken points away.

    You definitely won't be the only person this has happened to unfortunately. They look at the whole award after changes are reported and it can sometimes mean your points go down rather than up, it can feel really demoralising at times.

    But fingers crossed your appeal is successful and you can get the decision you need soon!
