Id check for universal credit migration

hi all, bear with me as new to this, just could do with some advice! I have recently been migrated to uc after being on esa income based benefits and in the support group after having bowel cancer, been on this just over ten years,I have filled in the online application but unfortunately don’t have any photo Id .I have ordered a citizen card but that won’t be here for a fortnight at best and have a face to Face ID check at the job centre in a couple of days! I would really prefer a phone Id check and wait for the Id,feel it would be a wasted trip and suffering at the mo with pain and anxiety! Any ideas .?

Hi,
Have you asked UC for the biographical phone check instead?

no I didn’t really know you could do that, bit of a learning curve all this

No problem. If you would like any adjustments for ID or anything else, all you have to do is leave a message in the online journal, or call the UC call centre. They won't know what your requirements are unless you tell them. It can take a few days to get a response to journal messages so phone might be better this time.
