Hi, my name is Sid09! Fit note query.
Hi all, just a question about the fit note I sent to my employer a week ago, they are now saying I need to have a final meeting with the boss, I have previously had a meeting to discuss everything , my fit note was a phase back to work for the first two weeks, by the time they allow me back this time will expire, what do I do ? Thankyou

Hi @Sid09 that sounds like something your organisation has decided to do as part of the process for returning to work. I'd hope that they'd still complete a phased return if they haven't acted within the window. It might be the meeting is to discuss and agree how this phased return will look. Hopefully you've a supportive boss. Do you have your meeting date yet?

Hi Holly thankyou for the reply, I have been intouch with one of the managers today he replied by saying that my boss will be speaking with HR tomorrow and he will let me know, so as yet I still do not have a date, just finding it a little bit frustrating as I didn’t know it would take so long getting back to work.

That's totally understandable. You probably just want to get a plan in place and know what you're doing, when. Hopefully you'll get a meeting invite tomorrow. Hope it goes ok. I'd love to know how it goes if you're happy to keep us updated.
