Hi, my name is Gartozi! I would like to speak to people who have had hip replacement surgery.

Hello everyone I have recently been put on waiting lists for a hip replacement on my right hip. I suffer from Arthritis, CFS,Fibromyalgia and would like to speak with people who are in the same boat or similar who might have experienced the operation. There is much for me to learn and I have to start somewhere. Any knowledge I can start to store which might help me would be very much appreciated 😊

Hi @Gartozi and welcome! I haven't myself, but I'm sure members who have will share their experiences with you. Just wanted to say hi.

Hi there
I had hip replacement surgery in January of this year, I suffer from arthritis too.
Having my new hip was the best thing, I can walk now for more than a few yards without pain.
I can get up and down the stairs a lot easier than before.

Hi Geronimo thanks for your message and I must say what a brilliant name. Was your recovery as expected and what timescale was it from surgery to your happiness in recovery?
