Housing Payment on UC
Can someone confirm if I am right or wrong.
UC pay us £908.18 housing payment per calendar month. I believe this is incorrect.
Our rent is £215.24 per week.
That amount x 52 (weeks in year) divided by 12 (Months) comes to £932.70
Am I calculating it wrong? I have made a note in my journal as our payment but as usual no one has replied.

I believe it is correct, its becuase UC pays you monthly not weekly and some months have 31days or 30days etc so theres more days in weeks in the year and less months. Your also paid in arrears with UC

The conversion calculation is correct.
Do you have any rent free weeks?
Do you have a spare bedroom?
Do you live in social housing or rent privately?
Does your rent amount include a service charge?

That's why I multiplied by 52 and divided by 12. That's how it was always worked out when we received Housing Benefit.

Mine or theirs? We don't get rent free weeks and don't have a spare bedroom. We are HA and although there is a service charge it has always been included in the rent.

I meant your calculation to convert a weekly benefit into a monthly one.
UC won't always pay for all service charges via Housing Element, perhaps this explains the discrepancy.

They've paid it up till now and housing benefit always paid it as it has never been listed as being separate. But even if it was the reason, the figures don't match.

I've just looked and they are not even service charges. They are management agent fees.
