PIP- no assessment

Good Morning, I recently applied for PIP in June and I have received a message saying that they have received my assessment report but I haven’t had an assessment phone call or face to face. I’m currently pretty much bed bound with severe ME/CFS and I’m hoping that they didn’t just reject my claim without an assessment. I provided a specialist letter, care plan, Dr summary and other documents so now feeling a little stressed that I’ve not had an assessment. Anyone had the same issue? Thank you

You have had an assessment, this would have been a paper based assessment.
Paper based assessments are done when they feel they have enough information with minimal or even no further input from the claimant.
They would have looked at your application form as well as all the additional evidence you provided.
