UC appointment
Hi there,
I have just migrated from IR ESA to UC and just have a couple of questions.
Firstly I had my first new style ESA payment 29th July and my first UC payment today. However i have had no letter or notification asking me to have an appointment with a coach. Normally when does this appointment take place or maybe I won't have one?
Also i was quite suprised that overall i seem to be getting about £100 extra a fortnight. Just wondering if this is normal or should i expect some reduction at some point ?
Thanks in advance

If you migrated to UC from ESA without the SDP, then it's correct you are better off. As UC Standard Allowance +LCWRA pays more than ESA Support Group (without SDP).
It's not possible to say when your appointment will be as it varies for everyone.
As the number of migration letters has increased, so too have various delays with ESA, leading to backlogs.

I have just migrated also on LCWRA component, i have being asked to have an appoinment, do we need to take it, i thought being on LCWRA we were always left alone as we are unfit for work ?

I looked at your other post, it seems voluntary so you can decline or just not respond.
Some people on ESA SG would be offered voluntary support, so it's the same really.
LCWRA is left alone in terms of work commitments but might be offered voluntary support from various schemes DWP has, and would still have to do a financial review if you are selected.
