Tribunals

Hello, I’m in the process of going for a tribunal over the PIP decision not to increase my award to the higher rates as my condition has declined. The DWP had till the 29th July to respond but they didn’t so I inquired about the matter on the 2nd August by email and I’ve received a message saying that they have passed it to the legal team for further clarification and I don’t need to do anything as they will contact me.
So basically “don’t call us, we’ll call you”
What is going on…… what are they playing at? What is the point of this original deadline of the 29th July if it is just ignored?

It's all part of the Tribunal process. The DWP don't respond in time, that is known. I can't comment any further, but the process is on going and try not to worry about it.
