I was lucky enough to win £800 on a lucky dip last night. Do this need to be declared to UC. I get paid too from UC next week and I’m well below £6k.
what is gambling winnings classed as?

It's classed as capital (savings) and, no, you don’t need to declare it to UC as you are below the £6000 threshold.

My bank balance changes daily, so if we had to declare our current balance I would be doing a change of circumstances every day.
