Means Tested Benefit Award Letters

Hi, I was just reading something online about award letters for means tested benefits. I seen a DWP worker mentioned that on every award letter for means tested benefits. Bank statement reviews were mentioned on each award letter on means tested benefits. I can’t check mines at the moment but can anyone confirm if that’s true?

It would help if you post a link because there has been too much false information and scaremongering about disability benenefits and we need to see actual facts.

Hi @Holly_Scope and @luvpink I have posted the link.

I was reading about the Fraud, Error, Debt bill yesterday and done a search on Reddit which showed me this post. I’ve checked my ESA booklets but not my award letters yet and it doesn’t anything about bank statement reviews in the booklets. Maybe I read that post wrong way but that’s what it felt like to me.
