Hi, my name is ABC22! PIP review finished, but the numbers dont add up?

Hi
I received a text yesterday saying my review for PIP is completed and I will receive my decision letter in the next 2 weeks . My anxiety is through the roof so today I called the automated message and they said my next payment is on the 2 septemeber which is 4 weeks from my last payment. But the amount is £73,90 which is the standaed rate I normally get per week .
I tried to call today numerous times but was on hold for over 30 mins each time .
I was just wondering if that has happened to anyone else where the automated message has given me the wrong amount .

Hey there @ABC22 and welcome to the community.
The automated line is notoriously incorrect, so your best bet is to just hold on for the letter to arrive, it wont be long now. 😊0 -
ABC22. The DWP always talk about £ per week. They never even in letters calculate the payment into 4 weeks which is what you’ll get in 2nd Sept. So you’ll receive £79.30 x 4 =£317.20 . Is that OK.

hi thank you for the replies . I just tried to call again and was put on hold for 30 mins .
I am going to have to wait until the letter arrives which hopefully is soon.
thanks Again really appreciate it . Hardly slept last night due to worrying .0 -
Unfortunately the DWP lines are always super busy, so it's often usual to be waiting for an hour to get through to someone. We always advise trying to call as soon as the lines open in the mornings to beat the queues.
Hopefully the letter will be with you soon, I know that worry first hand @ABC22

Finally got through and my PIP has been stopped ! 😢😢 I’m so upset & stressed . Apparently the £73.90 is my last weeks payment .
my support worker said we can appeal it but I honestly don’t know if I have the strength to deal with it !0 -
Oh I'm so sorry @ABC22 but as your support worker rightly said, it's not the end of the road. I know it may not seem like something you can cope with right now, but I'd strongly suggest you call them and ask for a copy of your assessment, then once it's arrived, write to them asking for a mandatory reconsideration. Do not ask for a MR over the phone, as the call centre staff may write things down wrong.
So many people get turned down like thing, but things do get turned around with the tribunals, I've been there myself a few times now. We're all here to help too. 😊

What? Not sure about that, in fact I know that's not right. When I ring the helpline I get my full monthly amount read out, not a weekly amount

Ray212…OK that’s great then. My DWP letters only give weekly amounts. I’ve never rung helpline.
