hello i have just received notice that the dwp have all the information to make a decision on my review i have been in receipt of pip since 2022 getting standard living and enhanced mobility, i usually get £603 a month. however i went to phone the dwp this afternoon and an automated message told me that i would be getting £345.02 on my next payment.i phoned them up and the girl could not help me as she said there is nothing on her screen and if they have made a decision it has not come through to them but to call tommorow or monday as it may time time to process, however i filled out my review form last september 2024 i was awarded until may 2025 but with an extention to 2026 or up to then due to backlogs but heres where it gets complicated i appealed my initial award and won my appeal but on my award letter yes it states 3 years but the dates are until may 2026 so they have completley made a massive error and i was told they were going to scrap the assessment that took place on july 22 of this year, yes july of this year, can you believe it due to their error now im receiving notification that they have all the information needed to make a decision and my payment for this month is going to be short can anyone throw any light on this set of circumstances because i am baffled

hi there and welcome to Scope unfortunately I'm not an expert in this area but someone else with more knowledge might be able to answer but it will have bumped you up to the top of the list.

the only other thing I like to recommend to people is to visit the coffee lounge for a general chat or the games den for some fun.

Heya @Holsten1000 and welcome to the community.

That does sound like quite the pickle, I'm sorry they're making things so confusing for you. And for everyone else by the sounds of things. If they've made any changes, they'll be writing to you with the new information, so I'd wait for that letter to arrive, as you'll then have all the information to had, which can cut down on waits and confusion later. But it does sound like they'd gone ahead with the review as you had sent the forms back.

Once you have the letter, it may be worth contact Citizens Advice, as they'd be better equipped to help you.

Holsten1000- The £603 is made up of standard living plus enhanced mobility rates as you know. The DWP don’t make communication easy at all. I can’t calculate a figure of £345.20. Since DWP usually give figures per week ,not total for 4 weeks. Presumably you appealed the daily living amount? Even if they gave you enhanced rate in both it may be £187.45 x 4 =£749.80. I suspect the £345.2 is just an error on DWP’s part.

Oh no @Holsten1000 what a nightmare! Ok, well the first step will be to wait for the letter, then I'd suggest asking for the MR in writing, as doing it over the phone will often lead to confusion from the call centre worker. Let us know when it arrives and we can alltake it from there. 😊

what is the address to ask for a mandatory reconsideration now and also who do I make complaints too as o want to complain about A the assessor telling me she could not record that day as she had to change phones to call me and was not I front of the system to do a recording so that makes me thinks she never even looked at any of my evidence and B they made errors in my award dates so when I was suppose to be reviewed is still in confusion I phoned them they told me they would scrap the assessment I had and would review me in September of this year because of there error but sadly they didn't do that and went with the assessment

The address will be on the letter that'll be on its way to you regarding your PIP. There's lots of info here which may be of use. :)

Regarding complaints, you can either complain to whichever provider did the assessment, or you can complain directly to the DWP.
