hi I’m in receipt of universal credit lwrca I’ve just become my fathers carer will I get any extra money thanks

    Unfortunately not, even if your father gets a qualifying benefit, the same person (you) cannot get both LCWRA and Carers Element under UC.

    If you were to claim Carers Allowance this would be deducted in full from your UC award, so no financial gain to claiming.
