Is this right
If I've never had a break in my claim ....
I was awarded incapacity benefit from early 2008
Then got moved to cbesa in 2013
Then in 2018 was told DWP made a mistake and I actually qualified for both cbesa and IR ESA when I originally got moved over in 2013 ..... So they gave me a back payment for all the IR top ups I missed .... Said it had been corrected from the first day of being moved from incapacity benefit to ESA
Then voullentatrlly moved over to UC in mid 2022 where I then received a mix of cbesa ( or new style ESA ) every two weeks and a UC LCWRA payment on the 1st of every month ....
My question is ....
I think my UC award is around 823 pounds a month in lcwra
I get 281 pounds every 2 weeks in cbesa .... So I work that out around 562 a month
So I get 281 every two weeks in cbesa and after deductions I get 214 pounds in UC a month
..... I worked it out and I'm getting my ESA deducted from my UC ( which I get ) but I get 562 a month ESA but UC deducts 609 ....I thought it was pound for pound in which case shouldn't it be 562 they deduct instead of 609 ?
So basically is what I'm getting correct ?
CBESA at 281 every two weeks and 214 lcwra at the end of the month

Yes, that's all correct.
See this thread for some information about the ESA deduction.
