Message on Journal on UC asking if I’d like to discuss help & support!
Hello All, I’ve just received a journal message today from U.C (only migrated over in April) to ask if I’d like a chat about training, plans & how I felt about things or similar nonsense. Said it wouldn’t affect my money or lead to a WCA.
I am 64, in very poor health with multiple chronic illnesses, an ongoing disability, Myeloma & 3 years until my state pension
What is the point of this, except to aggravate you & this is why they wanted us all on U.C rather than ESA?

That's a generic message many are getting on their journals from work coaches, so I'd not worry about things too much.

I've got one of these now as well. I don't have a work coach. Fairly sure they're just sending them to everyone on LCWRA now.
I was expecting it and don't feel any obligation to reply.

That message is an entirely optional template they send to everyone. You don't need to respond unless you want their help.
Plus as you're so close to retirement, you may as well just hold out for your pension (even if you weren't disabled).

I also recieved a message in my journal, asking me if i would like to have a chat with them, i did reply by saying that my condition had not changed and would only get worse, the message they sent i did find insulting as they are not medicaly trained, so they are not aware of how much stress or pain they could be putting you in. after working all my life up until i became ill, i feel as tho the disabled and pensioners are a burden to the government, but they want to remember that we paid for our elders retirement and for the disabled. and we are entitled to the same even tho you put an extra two years on our working lives, but what you havent calculated is that not all of us went to univeristy so we started work five years earlier, not to mention humans were the robots, fifty plus years ago.
