Hello, my friend's wheelchair recently broke and I really wanna help him cause he helped me so much in life and never asks for anything. I also don't have money for the repair so I started a fundraiser, but I don't really have a big social circle and don't know how to make people see the link. I'd be really grateful for any advice on how to share the link with more people or if you yourself know of way of sharing this, I'd be so thankful for doing so. Also thank you for your kindness and the time to read my thoughts.

Is there any way to remove the link so it wouldn't be advertised? I also really just need advice on how to do it, because I don't have any experience with this

Is it an electric / powered wheelchair, or is the damage simply mechanical?

Is the chair completely unusable at the moment?

My dad has an attitude that if something's broken, not dangerous to try fixing yourself (i.e. not the batteries), and is currently useless, then what have you got to lose by giving the repair a go yourself?

I hope you get it sorted and wish you luck, hope the cold reception hasn't discouraged the lovely gesture

Hi @MoniqueJaja, you might find this link helpful as a potential grant to help 😊 - Grants for Wheelchairs - Step One. I second what 66Mustang has said. It's a lovely gesture - you're a very good friend and i hope you're able to get something sorted for them.

The link that was posted was for a crowd funding site similar to gofundme which was based in the Netherlands so the OP must be somewhere in Europe.

I just know something in the control panel in his electric wheelchair is broken. We even already went to give the papers from service to the insurance company. But unfortunately they said they're only gonna cover part of the expenses after we bring the bill from service :(

Boo! Down with that sort of thing! (Don't blame me, i voted 'No'😉)

I have spent a fortune on both my scooters, and now a powerchair. It easily equates to the cost of running a car.
