Hi, my name is paul12345! Struggling to get pension credit to stop, any advice?

Hi everyone

Im hoping that someone can help me with the problem i have with pension credit this has been going on for 11 months I can't stop them paying me pension credit even though ive contacted them by mail with no reply phone calls which I can't get through citizens advice has contacted them and managed to get through to them and the answer they got was it takes 5 to 6 weeks to get sorted and come back but that never happened so I tried phoning again but no response Im in the same position with my council rent as they are continuing paying my rent because pension credit won't stop it and therefore my housing benifit can't be sorted until they get they know if im entitled to any pension credit or not even though I think im not because my mother left inheritance which they know about as well so ive decided to open up two savings accounts to put away rent money out of my own pension money to pay them if i can get this sorted and everytime pension credit sends me money i put that in a savings account ready to pay them back can anyone help or advise me what I can do as ive got epilepsy and its causing me to have more seizures and the depression its terrible I feel like sometimes I just want to end my life

It sounds as if you have done all the right things. You have tried to resolve the situation and have put the money aside. You could try making a formal complaint to Pension Credit but I would try contacting your MP first. If an MP intervenes issues seem to be resolved more quickly.
