I'm 38, and i'm a mother of one and live with my partner. I joined the online community so I can chat and discuss with other members whose lives are affected with disabilities and be able to learn more.

Hi @Annie015 and a warm welcome to the community 😊

We have lots of people here with different disabilities that you can chat too and share experiences with. It's usually a good place to start in the Coffee Lounge to have a general chit-chat with people about anything and everything!

We also have specific categories for different disabilities, benefits, etc. Here's a list of our Categories.

If you have any questions just ask. Otherwise have a look around, join in, or start, a discussion!

@Richard_Scope Yeah, sure does, but she keeps me going even gets me out to do walking with my walker around the block to help me keep active and be able to move about, and our bombay cat Coco comes along for the walk as well

    Hi @Annie015

Welcome to the community. I'm Sara and have right sided hemiplegia (a type of cerebral palsy) and a parent to a 21 year old son. He keeps me on my toes, quite literally, even though he moved to his own place this year.

Parenting is challenging for anyone, but with the added complexities of CP I had to adapt my parenting style quickly. We were also thrown in at the deep end as we're adoptive parents and he came to live with us as a toddler.

It would be lovely to see you at our CP Network meetings.
