Hi I was refused mobility insurance due to having ni10 ( i think), six points. Is it possible to appeal this decision due to needing a vehicle for my son. Or does anyone know any other way to be able to insure the vehicle
Thanks

If you have 6 points, and any of them are for a serious offence - no insurance, failing to stop after an accident etc, then they won't insure you i'm afraid.
I believe they tolerate 3 points, but it would be discretionary if they tolerate 6 for minor offences.

What if your ban has been up for two years 3 in January

Motability do not insure drivers who have been banned from driving within the past 5 years.
