Hi im wondering if anybody can help me out, so I put in my fit note in may 2025, I handed in my UC50 form in June 2025, I had my assesment over the phone on 30th October 2025, and I have just been rewarded LCWRA believe £420 rate today 13th November 2025 - does anybody understand how the back payments work please ? Is it from 3 months AFTER my first fit note to November ? Or from the first Fit note? Also if anybody can help me with a idea on how much I could possibly get if entitled to back payment thank you

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

What date did you report the health condition?

What date was your first Fit Note?

Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?

It is the date you give the Fit Note to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.

Do you have any Transitional Protection on your claim? If so, how much please?

Finally what is your UC assessment period or payment date?
