Hi, my name is Daz1980! Will my assessment be in the new style PIP form?
Hi , I'm on here in super advanced time, over my pip award that I've been awarded for about 17 years now, it runs out in September 2027, but I'm having to be reassessed in September 2026. Every reassessment I've had fill out has aloud me to be awarded the enhanced award for both parts. I'm worried now because I've been reading that in November 2027 the assessment form is being changed to a new style of questions designed to trick you and to make it harder to qualify for pip. Will my September 2026 be in the original form that's being used now, or will it be in the new style form.?
Can anyone help me with my worries that after around 17/18 years of being awarded the enhanced allowance, that I might lose and totally make my life even harder than it is already.
Thanks
Darren

Time alone will tell.

Hi @Daz1980, unfortunately it's difficult to say. I would think that you'd receive the older form as your date comes in before the rollout, but it may just be a case of wait and see. I know that doesn't help with the worry of it!
If you need any support with your form once it comes please feel free to ask the community. We've got lots of very helpful people around. And there's also professional benefits advisers who can help too, so you don't have to face it alone. Hopefully it'll all go smoothly for you once the time comes ☺️
