PiP review
hi all
Last post and update after assessment
Thanks to people who helped on my previous posts
Was on standard living, enhanced mobility
That was due to end sep 2025
Sent forms back in March, got extended a year in September
Had phone assesment 23 October for hour and half
Received text hour later to say it’s gone to dm, will get letter 2-6 weeks with outcome
Called pip for report, received week later, was in favour for me bar a few discrepancies
Gave 15 for daily(last time was 10) even a 4 pt one! Never had before, 12 for mobility, course it’s still down to dm
Received text yesterday to say it’s complete, will get letter in 2 weeks
After reading posts on here regarding payment line or pip(not always correct, or will say wait for letter) just needed to know after months of stress!
Payment line said payment higher on next one, that will be daily living, as mobility goes to motobility
Decided to call, guy on phone told me my award, enhanced on both, best part it’s for 10 years, previous ones been 3 years, also backpay from March , over 1k, that surprised me more as technically I was on pip till September, thought backpay be from then/assesment etc, as I read don’t always give backpay
Anyway, just to let people know how it went, and ended
Long wait, stressing etc , assessment, the waiting, the outcome.
Good luck to those going through it, or waiting
Thanks
