    Hi there,

The hospitals do not have a Right to do this to disabled Patients it has to be the Patients or Carers Desion not the hospitals as far as i am aware they do not have the right to make that discision without the Patients Knowledge.

I heard rumours about this during Covid but if it is still continuing that is awful. People need to have their wishes in writing and to have a friend or advocate if they need to go to hospital with a serious illness. Unfortunately not everyone has that.

Where did you hear about this please fuzzy200?

When my brother in law, who had Alheimers, was admitted to hospital some months ago , my sister was TOLD they would put a DNR on his notes. There was a very unpleasant exchange of words with the doctor as my bro in law didn't even have a serious illness at the time.
