Why are disabled people being targeted by this child cap lifted
I saw this woman doctor Renee something who is always on tv. She was very angry about disabled people getting uc. That she dosent see any about or in her surgery, that they should take money away and that would make disabled people go to work. What a heartless woman. I hate for her to be my doctor.
I know people are angry about reeves saving her job and misleading parliament. Scrapping the 2 child cap. But what has that got to do with disabled people?

I feel the same way.
It’s so upsetting.0 -
Nothing. She should be looking at others on UC... Latest figures are nearly 8m on UC of which over 1m are foreign nationals. Though some on UC work including foreign nationals but need a top up. In 2022 it was 5.3m in total on UC. Not to mention currently 3.8m on PIP, up from 2m in 2020 too. I would say it's totally unsustainable now! Poor working taxpayers.... Their wages disappearing due to a Personal Tax Free Allowance of only £12,570… Frozen from 2020 to 2030..… There will be a lot paying 40% tax now too.... A joke really.

Just annoyed me, I put it on sometimes for the weather at the weekends, she says in her surgery but she's hardly there I guess, she's on tv . Giving her opinion on everything. But imagine if she was your doctor, I would change surgery

The Doctor is best ignored. But I think we can all agree the current numbers on benefits is astronomical and still increasing. There are obviously going to be changes, hopefully it is progressed properly and the disabled don't suffer. I'm glad I don't work now because I would not be paying that Account Clerk Reeves 40% tax from my wages that is for sure!

No mate unfortunately. Good one!
I agree, they chase you now for having a little bit of bank interest.....
If I had that money I'd live elsewhere I think.....

Also, it's beyond me why "Rachel from Accounts" hasn't been sacked yet, and probably never will be.
