Universal credit stoped paying court fine
Please can someone help me with a question. I received a message on my online u.c account saying thay have stopped paying my fine to the courts and to ring the courts to find out if I still ow money. What does this mean ? Does that mean the fine has been fully paid or does that mean I'm in line for a sanction or ever stopping my benefits ? Thers nothing on my journal saying my payments have stopped or been sanctioned. Please help 🙏

I would contact the courts to find out if the money has been repaid in full.
I can't think of any reason your UC would be stopped or sanctioned as it's a third party issue, nothing directly to do with your claim.

Kimi87 too late at night to contact the courts or even contact the job centre but i will do first thing in the morn, iv put a message on my journal to ask if thats because my fines been paid ?? I'm panicking now and anxiety through the roof incase thay have sanctioned or stopped my payment without putting in on my journal in words and letting me know because I don't trust this new government thor the job centre. Nothing on my journal to say my payments have stopped or gonna be stoped so might just be my paranoia and mental health playing tricks on me. Was just wondering has anyone finished paying a fine thru u.c and did thay get that same message when it was payed ??
