Has the PIP review form called AR1 changed quite a bit, over the years?
I remember filling out a PIP review form called AR1 back in 2023. I think, looking at the bottom of each page, there was a version code on it, and it was dated 2018. Now, looking at the latest PIP review AR1 form, with a version code of 12/24, meaning December 2024, it looks quite a bit different to how I remember it. Am I recalling things correctly?

Hi @ESABenefitsUK123, a new AR1 form came in after November 2024. The format is slightly different and the boxes are a bit smaller.
The advice is still to treat it as if it were a new claim and add as much detail as possible. You can attach extra sheets if the boxes aren't big enough, you just need to label them with your details so they can easily see which question you're answering ☺️

Thanks. I seem to recall that the old form went something along the lines of —- what has changed since you last received your award. That type of thing. This new form, 25 pages long, is really more like the old PIP2 form, in as much as it's a full blown questionaire, asking about everything "from scratch".

@ESABenefitsUK123 I Have not seen the new AR1 form, so I can't comment, but I agree with what Rosie has said.

Hi @ESABenefitsUK123, Yes, that's right. The old form had questions along the lines of 'tell us what changed and when' for each activity section. The new one does seem to expect you to treat it more like a new claim.
