Carers Allowance and Universal Credit Carers Element

Hi,
I'm on UC with carers element, and have just recieved my carers allowance back pay (which backdates about a month before I was on UC). Do I need to inform UC about this or will they be automatically informed? Also, will they subtract £ for £ my CA back pay from my UC, so I will have 0 UC for a couple of months until its paid back? Finally, do I need to report to them every month my carers allowance? I've seen conflicting information about this. I know the UC will be reduced £ for £ against CA going forward.
