Hi can anyone advise me I've given my notice, at My present job due to it be very challenging in care I get verbal and physically abused daily, already applied for other jobs but I get u/c as look after my granddaughters since my son passed away, what will happen to my payments if I don't find another job before my notice runs out thank you x

You can try a benefits calculator to estimate your UC award with no wage coming in, fill out the details as if your circumstances were the same but you had no job.

Hi @dolly4, I'm really sorry to hear your son passed away. Care is such a difficult career sometimes and all you've been facing at work sounds so tough to deal with on top of everything else. Kimi's advice is a good place to start.
Your UC will be adjusted if your wages stop coming in, but you will usually need to tell them if you've left your job. Hope you manage to find something more suitable soon ☺️
