Pip review deadline and Christmas post worry
I am in a bit of a panic . My husbands pip review form came in whilst we were in the middle of getting ready to move home. So, I thought I would leave filling it in until we moved last week.
Pip stated that it needed to be received by the 27th December . I didn’t give it a second thought as I posted it (I think last weds 17th) or it was last Thursday.
Just looked at the Royal Mail last post date which was the 17th December but I am really worried it won’t reach them in time.
Has anyone had this problem before given the time of year ? Would Pip extend the deadline due to the Christmas post by a couple of days ?
Thanks so much

I would suggest that you call PIP as they may give you an extension or make a note on their system that the form may be slightly late. If you can get proof of postage that would be helpful.

I doubt anyone will be working in the post department on the 27th. They definitely won't be there 25th & 26th. And I haven't seen PIP automatically extend a deadline due to bank holidays. I would agree with above that it would be best to phone today and ask for the deadline to be extended if they haven't received it already.
