PIP Backdated Pay - Budgeting advance debt

Hello, I had a review of my pip back in August and was lowered to standard daily from enhanced and lost my standard mobility. I disagreed and did a mandatory reconsideration, which was denied, and I then applied to tribunal. Long before the tribunal took place, someone from PIP called me and I forget the exact wording, but they essentially said they are someone from PIP who has the same line of thinking as people on the tribunal will, and offered be back enhanced daily and standard mobility and then the tribunal not go ahead. I agreed, but then she explained for the enhanced rate change only, it will need to go to a decision from a type of debt I have with DWP. This can only be a budgeting advance, and talking it over with her she sort of, but not convincingly, agreed that they might agree to release the funds to me, rather than using it to cover the advanced payment.

My question is, when will the payment likely be received for the backdated payment for the standard mobility section, and when (if it even will) will the payment for the enhanced rate backdated payment be paid, or is it likely to be taken due to my budgeting advance?

She said the debt team have 14 days to decide if they will take it or release it, and that she can't even send out the decision letter until the payment is sent out. But with the decision about it going to debt or not, and that decision only being about the daily going from standard to enhanced payment, not my mobility gpijg to standard payment, I have been left quite confused.

Hi @Darren1993, I'm sorry no-one was able to answer your question. Have you received your backdated pay? It usually takes around 2 weeks to come through but this may be different for you as your situation is a bit more complex.
