Pip text to say decision in 6 weeks, but, but, but had no assessment

We will make a decision on your PIP, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us.
You will continue to get PIP while your award is being reviewed.
You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.
BUT I HAVEN'T HAD AN ASSIGNMENT SINCE 2022 WHEN 3YRS WAS AWARDED. CONFUSED AS NO IDEA WHAT THIS NEW REPORT IS BASED ON & HAVE NEW. HEALTH CONDITION EFFECTING MY WALKING NOW & I GOT 0 FOR MOBILITY BEFORE ??? VERY CONFUSED!

You've had what's known as a paper based assessment.
This is done based on the information you sent, with minimal or even no further input from the claimant.
Sometimes this is done by the health assessment agency, or increasingly reviews are being kept in house at the DWP.
You can still request a review of the decision (Mandatory Reconsideration) and appeal to an independent appeal tribunal if you are unhappy with the outcome.
