Encouraged Art for PTSD
Hello everyone.
I’m new to this but have a worry and wanted to ask for advice please.
I have a rare Hormonal condition which results in pain, reactive Arthritis, muscle waste and also Tumours ( open heart surgery with 5cm tumour on Aorta) combined with this I Suffer enormously with PTSD & Severe Anxiety.
my Mental health team urged me to try and do Art/portraits which is something I used to do. I need to do at my own pace maybe 2hrs across the week. It really is helping with the mental side of things.
I used to years ago charge around £100-300 for a picture ( when I worked full time before ever receiving support )
But in the last couple of months I have sold 2 pictures £40 each non profit but in order to cover materials, post and an online company to help with the layout.
I have been told that UC would stop me £40 ???? Even though this amount was worked out to cover all outgoings?
is this True?
As it would mean I would need to stop this aswell or would be even more financially worse off.
