I heard about a grant for disabled for a new bed is this still available?

That is correct - an electrically adjustable bed - called a "profiling" bed - that's what I was given !

Have you applied to OT for an assessment? I have a hospital bed on loan from them.

Welcome to the community @carol_w! As others have said, it may be worth getting an Occupational Therapy assessment to see if they can help you with this. You can usually speak to your GP or medical team to get a referral.
