Received a text this morning from PIP
Received a text today from PIP stating -"We've received the written report of your PIP assessment. We will write to you once we've made a decision on your PIP. As a guide you should hear from us within 8 weeks. You don't need to contact us unless any of the details you gave us have changed. Thank you."
Does this mean I don't need an assessment and that they are satisfied with everything I put in my application?

Hi @sightsmash and a warm welcome to the community from me!
Yes it sounds like you provided enough information and evidence in your written assessment so you won't need to have a face to face assessment😊

Brilliant! So no telephone assessment either I'm assuming? Just got to wait for my decision?

You've had a paper based assessment, which means minimal or even no further input from the claimant.
No face to face or telephone appointment.
